PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP

The PROMISE Scholarship is merit-based and is a financial aid program for West Virginia residents. Students who receive this scholarship are eligible to receive annual rewards up to $5,500 to cover the cost of tuition and fees at public or independent institutions in West Virginia.Both the PROMISE Scholarship application and the FAFSA must be submitted no later than March 1, 2025. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or whatever is considered a “B” average.

ACT Score requirement: 21 composite score with a minimum of 19 English, Mathematics, Science, and Reading.

SAT Score requirement: Minimum total score of 1080 with a minimum score of 510 in both the reading and math subsections.
